LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A Big Girl in a Big City follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
If you fill in a contact form, the details (personal data) you enter will be sent to the recipient email box so that they can reply to your email. We may ask for personal information, but only if you voluntarily provide it to us. This includes: Name and Email.
This data is considered “identifying information”, as it can personally identify you. We only request personal information relevant to providing you with a service, and only use it to help provide or improve this service.
COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
It does not collect names, emails or any physical addresses. This data is used solely for the purposes of monitoring traffic to wpkind.com. All data is kept for 26 months before being automatically deleted.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
A Big Girl in a Big City does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Information sent to us through our contact form is stored indefinitely. We keep contact form submissions for as long as necessary for customer service purposes
Analytics data is stored for one year.
Data captured via the newsletter subscription forms are kept for as long as you stay subscribed.
